Oxford Parking, Park and Ride.

Parking Sign

Although the Council actively discourage parking cars in the city centre and prefer visitors to use the Oxford Park and Ride scheme there are still a number of places visitors can park near the city centre. The ten main car parks in Oxford are listed below. You can also see them on an Oxford car park map.

The Council, working in partnership with RingGo, have set up a new system to allow you to pay for your parking at certain locations by mobile phone. This is a big advantage as you no longer need to find a paying machine, have some loose change or display a ticket! Another benefit is that if you are running late and you are worried about the traffic warden you can just call to buy some more time!

To use the service you first need to register with Ringo or phone them on 01865 989000 (local rate number). Once registered you can call them anytime to pay for parking.
