This country pub walk starts in the car park near Oxford's Port Meadow, it takes you on a level walk along the river Thames, with two good country pubs to visit along the way.
The pubs are the Perch Inn and the Trout Inn (which has appeared in both episodes of Inspector Morse and Lewis) which both provide a good standard of food.
Other than the prospect of a country walk, beer and good food there are also some interesting sights to see, Godstow Lock and the remains of the 12th Century Godstow Abbey.
Warning! Some people say this tour could be for Geeks, because we have used QR Codes to provide geo locations. If you haven't got a QR Code reader app on your smart phone, there is a simple map for you to follow. Have fun.
