Campsites in Oxford
Being a city the choice of Campsites in Oxford is limited but there are a few in and around the city. Oxford Camping is the most centrally located, being a 25 minute walk south of the city centre, other options require the use of public transport or a car to get to the city centre. They get booked up quickly so it is advisable to book ahead.
Diamond Farm Camping Park
Diamond Farm Camping is a small, family run, camping and caravan site set on the edge of both the Cotswolds with all the beautiful villages and hamlets to the west and the Chiltern Hills to the east. The site covers three acres and is open between March and October. All pitches at Diamond Farm are spacious and on level ground, situated in pleasant surroundings. Both hard standing and grass pitches are available, all being just a short walk away from clean and modern toilet and shower facilities.

The Oxford Camping and Caravanning Club campsite is open to members and non-members alike and is open all year round.
The site is the perfect place to explore Oxford as it is just over a mile from the city centre, yet it is still quiet. Buses regularly leave the Park and Ride opposite the Site or you can walk or cycle the short distance to the centre.
The following facilities are available at this site; Club Service Pitch, Club Standard Pitch, Storage facilities, Grassy site, Open (unsheltered), Toilets, Hot showers, Washbasins, Electric razor sockets, Chemical toilet disposal point, Drinking water, Laundry facilities, Dishwashing facilities, Ice pack freezing facility, Bottled gas, Dogs welcome.
Being a great Site for seeing Oxford it does suffer a little more noise than most Club sites.
