There are ten National Express buses a day from outside Windsor Parish Church on the High Street. The total journey takes 5 - 6 ½ hours, including a transfer at London Victoria. After booking online, you will be issued with an e-ticket, which you need to print out and take with you, or an m-ticket, which is sent to your mobile phone. If you buy a ticket for a specific bus time, the ticket is normally honoured for 24 hours from your original departure time should you be delayed.
It is by far cheapest and quickest to take the train between Windsor and Bath. There are two trains per hour to Bath from Windsor and Eton Central Station, but you need to change at Slough and Reading. The journey time is around 2 hours. You get the best fares by booking up to three months in advance. You can buy your tickets online, at the station ticket counter, or from the ticket machines. If you book online you will need to collect your tickets from the ticket machine using the same credit card you used to book your tickets online.
