The best way to get to Bath from London Waterloo by bus, is to take the underground to Victoria and catch a direct bus service. National Express coaches run from London’s Victoria bus station direct to Bath 10 times a day. The journey takes around 3 – 4 ½ hours and costs about 22 GBP for a standard single ticket, which is non-refundable, or it’s approximately 35 GBP return. If your plans change, you can amend your ticket. For more detailed information, including maps and national and local buses in Bath see our guide to Bath Bus Station.
After booking online, you will be issued with an e-ticket, which you need to print out and take with you, or an m-ticket, which is sent to your mobile phone. If you buy a ticket for a specific bus time, the ticket is normally honoured for 24 hours from your original departure time should you be delayed.

There are two MegaTrains per day from London Waterloo station at 09:20 and 12:20. The journey takes 2 hours 25 minutes and costs roughly 6-12 GBP. You can book Megatrain tickets online by clicking the button below or telephone 0900 160 0900 (60p per minute, 07:00-22:00 7 days per week).
